North Korea Response

I don't think there is any way to solve the problem in North Korea. It seems as though they want to be separated from the rest of the world. If any country did attempt to fix North Korea, North Korea would just reject there help. We did try helping them, but it didn't work. So I don't think we should help them anymore at all. The problems seem to be getting worse in North Korea and Kim Jong-Il acts like there are no problems. The North Koreans are being brain washed because of him. Maybe the next leader after Kim Jong-Il will have more sense and solve the major problems. There is no hope for North Korea to change until Kim Jong- Il dies.

I agree with Lizzie completely. As of now North Korea is helpless because Kim Jung Il won't accept any outside country's help. When Kim Jung Il dies, maybe things will take a turn for the better and his son will be a better leader, so we just have to wait and see.

Good ideas, ladies. What if his son is just as bad?

I agree eith everything lizzie said, except for that last part...When Kim Jung-Il dies, his son is going to take over. He already is in control of the military, and from the looks of it, and from reports given, he is just as bad. Now im not saying that really changes anything from right now, but we have to be careful, if this son decides to take his military to Americas front door. #Hopefully Not

I think that Stephen is dead on. If the North Korean people have been brain washed by Kim Jung Il, what is the likelyhood that his son has not? Damage control seems to be the best method for dealing with this right now.

I also agree with Lizzie and Stephen. Kim Jong Il's son already has a lot of power, being the head of the military, which is just getting him ready to eventually take over and lead North Korea. North Korea has many advantages with their nuclear weapons, so it would be best for America to stay away and not get involved. We don't want to make it worse than it already is.

I agree with Even because even though we might not want to help out with there problem we can always still try and stay in contact with them just to make sure that we are still somewhat in tact witht them. Anything can happen at any time expecially with North Korea so it's best to communicate the best we can.
