American Culture
I think Fremd is a good demonstration of our culture. It would show outsiders how much we care about technology and how much we rely on it. Also, an outsider would see how our cliques and social groups work. It may be a little over dramaticized because it is high school students but it is the general idea of how we function socially. overall, i think fremd is a good representation of our society and how we function within it.

I agree with ya. Fremd is the perfect place if youre looking for American culture. We care so much about what others think of us. Also, we are drowning ourselves in electronics. Fads are everywhere and we cannot escape them. We got iPods, iPhones, Uggs, you name it.
I completely agree with everything you said. We almost depend on technology especially our phones because most of us can not go a day with out checking them. High school is also over dramatized and filled with gossip. We also value our social lives and friendships.
I agree with Janelle and everything she said. Phones are a big part of teens life and that would be easily noticed by a cultural anthropologist studying at Fremd. Also, just by spending a year at Fremd, they would be able to notice how teens simply behave in their daily lives. I also like how Jack added Uggs in his post because it's so true. So many girls at Fremd wear Uggs, it's crazy.
