The Green Party

In my opinion, the green party is most likely to have a president elect because people these days are trying to "go green" and save the environment. It makes a lot more sense because of how close Al Gore was to winning, he was a democrat who was completely supported by the Green Party.

If any third party candidate were to get elected i think from the libertarian party would be the best bet. They have the most odds of making it because they are one of the only third parties that are not too extreme. They have the most realistic ideas and thoughts for the country. While some of the other third parties have good points, they are way too dominate to one side of the spectrum. which means they probably won't ever have a chance. But overall, democrat and republican will most likely always stay on top.

Political Party

I think that there are a couple that have a change of making it. I don't know how well or long they would last, but I think some may have a chance. I actually think the Green Party has a good chance at it. They are about environmentalism, which I feel like a lot of people have been more interested in learning about in the U.S. in the past few years. Also, they want social justice and non-violence which I think a lot of people would go for. Although I'm not sure to what extent the non-violence goes for, like no war? Although some people don't like war, in some situations it is needed to get things done. So depending on the extent of non-violence there could be some disagreements there.

Political Parties

I don't think any of the political parties we looked at on the webquest would ever get elected to office. I think they all have too strong of views that would get them no where in an election. Another thing that wouldn't help them in a election is that there are so many third parties out there. There are so many that people don't even know that they exist. How are you supposed to make it in an election if no one knows your party even exists?

Political Parties

I think the party that has the most chance to make it is, the Libertarian party. The Libertarian Party is a party with Democrats and Republicans ideas combine together. The people in the Libertarian party they often ask the government for more freedom. They want a smaller government. They also ask for lower taxes, and I think paying less taxes is good for the people that don't have a job they need that extra money that the government is taking away from them.

Parties

I agree with most of the students that the Libertarian Party most likely seems like the party to make it in to the United State's political party system because of their strong beliefs. They also aren't far out there with their beliefs. They are in fact very similar in their beliefs and I also think they pulled out the best qualities of the Republicans and the Democrats to make them their own and from their own party.

Political Parties

I agree with most of the students. Libertarian Party seems like the most likely party to make it in to the United State's political party next to Republicans and Democrats. For some voters, they have a hard time choosing which party to vote for when election time comes around. Some of them, like me, agree with both Republicans and Democrats and the Libertarian party has ideas from both of the parties we currently have. I think most people agree with this party and what it has to offer. Libertarian upholds individual liberty, especially freedom of expression. We like to be left alone for the most part from the government and libertarian allows that.
