Deviance

I feel that it's okay to be deviant when you're fighting for the something that will help everyone, or to make people notice what they're doing is wrong. Martin Luther King was a deviant, and he was just trying to accomplish something better for all African Americans.. but if people are just doing it to be "cool" then it's annoying and unnecessary.

i agree with this. when deviance is used to help a large group of people it is acceptable. but for other purposes should not be exhibited.

I agree. The greater good is something that requires people to mostly be deviant. Many people need to be called out on the fact that what they're doing is wrong and therefore calls for deviance. The social rights movement is a very good example. Deviance for attention is almost pointless in that there's nothing really being accomplished. In fact, it may just be acting negatively for the person.
