Gender Norms
I believe that gender roles play a huge role in our society today. Women and men are supposed to act in certain ways. Women are supposed to be more of the care givers and Men are supposed to be the providers. I feel like men view women as cutesy and ditsy where as women view men as tough and strong. I also think men and women act differently around the opposite sex than they do around the same sex.

I totally agree with Lizzie that men and women act completely different around the opposite sex than they do with the same sex. It's simply part of our society and behavior norms. Men would make fun of each other for being emotional and having feelings, as they may show to a woman. Also, women don't ask a man to go shopping and other female activities than women would normally do on their own or with other ladies.
I agree with Lizzie. Men are supposed to make money while women are supposed to be cook/clean/take care of the kids. Men and women act very different when they are around the same sex than around opposite sex. Men act all tough around each other but around girls they're sensitive.
