Gender norms control a lot of our society. Boys are always supposed to act acertain way, and girls are always supposed to act another way. For example, girls are always supposed to play with dolls, whereas boys are supposed to play with blocks or something along those lines.
I agree with rob but it doesn't necessarily mean that boys are suppose to be one way and girls a different way just because our gender. I believe a boy can do stuff girls can do and be a man who takes care of the house and the woman works.
