Herman Cain

I do think it was a good idea for Herman Cain to drop out the race because of all the allegations of sexual harassment. These people that came out pretty much got what they wanted. Although I don't think the allegations have anything to do with the way that Cain would run our country. I think that he shouldn't be able to keep the campaign donations that he has received because he doesn't need the money anymore. Why should he get to keep money that was originally intended for his presidential campaign or himself? That isn't really fair...

Yes, the things he does in his personal life and his ability to run the country should be two different issues. But I don't think people can ever really put their trust in someone who hasn't made the best of choices in the past. I think that its best for Cain to take some time to let things cool down.

Although it's inconvenient for the presidents' and upcoming candidates' personal lives to be put up to a microscope, I think it could possibly reflect on their leadership skills. if a person cheats, lies, and fights with their wife then is it possible that they lie to their voters or fight with a leader in a foreign affair. Like you said it would be hard for american citizens to trust Cain with his word.
