Mickey Mouse for president
We really dont need to have the electoral college. Its just unnecessary to count all the votes from all over the U.S. and basically have nothing to do with what actually takes place at the electoral college. As it stands right now it seems like we are doing the same job twice. It would be just easier to take out the middle man, and actually have the people vote for who they want to be president. If we want Mickey Mouse for president then let it be.

While I agree that voters need to make the decisions about what happens to our country, not a select few individuals, I do think that there should be a safe guard against things like electing Mickey Mouse. While it seems funny now, what would happen if we did allow something like this to occur? We could be risking the stability of the whole country for what? A few laughs? Individual people are generally good, but the general population can be pretty moronic.
