The situation in North Korea should not be solved by the US at all. Why interfere with the way people choose to live. North Korea would not want anything to do with us because of their hatred towards America. I say all of the world leaders should not be involved with North Korea so they don't get angry and declare war or something. I think the most we could do is suggest that china build a secret underground passage that will help any North Korean that wants to escape. North Korea has some problems, but we don't have much say in what goes down in their country.

I think you have a point on some of your arguements, but I dont think that the underground tunnel from China would work. We would have to secretly tell China to do build it, and thats a pretty big secret to keep and expect North Korea not to find out. Besides the chinese are "friendly" with the North Koreans so I dont think they would agree to that.
Good points, guys. Also, is it fair to say that the North Koreans "chose" to live the way that they do?
North Korea will not listen to us anyway, they hate us. So what makes you think that China will help us if they are "friends" with North Korea.
