Quarter 1, Week 2: Freedom of Speech

Great job with the North Korea posts!  This week, we will investigate of some of the most disputed Amendments our Constitution has to offer.  So, let's start at the beginning, literally, with the First Amendment.

We probably all know that the First Amendment guarantees freedom of speech, but what exactly does that mean?  In other words, how free is free speech?  Should there be ANY limitations on what Americans are allowed to say, or how they are allowed to express themselves?  If so, what are those limitations, and if not, why shouldn't there be any?  What do YOU think?

Remember, you must first respond to these questions as a "New Post," and then you must "Comment" on someone else's post.  Your response is due Sunday, September 11th at 11:59 PM.  Happy blogging!
