the reform needs to still maintain the american philosophy of freedom and choices, but on the other hand due to this freedom there is no core to the economy. the current economy is unstable and unpredictable. the reform needs to target the wealth gap, it needs to be diminished in order to build a more equal and progressive world. there needs to be an alteration to our current system in order for america to progress as a nation.

america's economic system needs to be altered
At an individual's standpoint, i believe the system we have now is not functioning correctly and needs some type of reform. What the reform might be, i have no idea, i'm nothing close to economics specialist. but i do know that our american economic system has crashed and seen an almost crash several times, so there must be something wrong. Think of the economic system as a car and the president or leader as the driver; now that car has no brakes or steering and no matter how good the driver or president is the economic system or car is going to crash. Our economic system has crashed before and will again.

I really liked the analogy you gave. I agree, americans attribute the success and failures of our economy to the president, instead of looking at the actually economic system itself. We need to keep amending and reforming our economy in order to reach our countries potential.
