Campaign Finance

Campaign finance is one of the things about the election process that makes me uncomfortable. It is basically made up of the candidate and their team begging for money for what? A stupid ad on TV bashing the other opponent and their own personal jet to take them around the country? There are so many other things that this money could be used for aside from the meaningless campaign of one candidate. There is only one winner in the end which means that the other money spent was basically a waste. I do think the government should set a limit on both parts because it would make campaigns more of a political race instead of just making it one big money game.

I completely agree with you. The money that all the other candidates raise is totally wasted because they get nothing but a loss out to the election. We should tell candidates that the amount of money they spend should have limits because in the end it all ends up going to the media for putting the ads out. It takes money away from things that actually need it.

i dont think they should put a limit on it because it dosent really affect us. They do waste a bunch of money though on the tv as bashing. I agree with this because i think they should spend the money on something else. Finally i dont agree with your statement about the limit the goverment should set because they would find some way to get around it.
