Wall Street Protests

I think the wall street protests are an effective use of freedom of speech an assembly. They are sure attracting a lot of media attention, which in turn gets the attention of the general public. They've gone from just Wall street to a global phenomenon, and people really care about the cause. Whether it will yield results is a different story, but it's definitely proven that, with the right amount of willpower and people, any idea can be brought to the public eye.

I do agree with Ryan on this. It does demonstrate freedom of speech and assembly. And because of this, the issue has become known and supported internationally. It might not prove to change the way the government is doing, but they are utilizing the first amendment to further their rights by gaining support of others, and hopefully the government as well.

I agree with you just because you are right. I don't think they will generate any results. However they will cause a big media watch on them just like the Tea Party. But I haven't heard about the Tea Party in a while and soon Occupy Wall Street will pass too.
