Wall Street Protests

Yes, I do think that the Wall Street protests are an effective use of Freedom of Speech and the Right of Assembly. The protests have been going on for over a month and people are really taking notice. The video we watched today said that the protests are spreading around the US and even the world. Obviously it is effective, because people around the US are talking about the protesters. They are getting their message out, just by having people like you and me discuss their actions. These people felt very strongly about our financial situation and are getting their views noticed, worldwide.

I agree with Ben. People are seeing what these protesters are talking about through social media and news outlets. People are taking notice just by word of mouth throughout the country. It's proven to become a widespread thing.

I also agree with Ben. The protesters are definitely getting their message out and going noticed by many people throughout the US. Between the media and word of mouth, their beliefs are being spread and well known. Like we saw in the video, news reporters are also visiting the site to show the whole set up to the public and get interviews from the protesters.

I agree. These protests are effective. When the media takes interest in something everyone takes interest, so the message is reaching people. The publicity their giving these protests is helping their cause so much. I think it changed some peoples opinion on the subject
