Capitalism
I think the economic system that America has is the best option there is. Although many people are poor, everyone has a chance to make money for themselves. Some people may have much better chances, for example people who inherit money, but with hard work, anyone for the most part can make money. In the recent economic downturn, it had become much harder for Americans to get jobs, but changing to a socialist, communist, or traditional economic system would cause chaos. The US has always been capitalist and if there was a sudden change, large outbursts and riots could occur. All of the nations that have any economic system other than capitalist seem to be doing worse than us.

I agree. Capitalism is the best option for America. And with a Capitalist economy much chaos will be prevented.
I totally agree with kara. Everyone in america has opportunities and some people have more than others. Even though the unemployment rate is high, changing the system would just create craziness!
I agree with you. Capitalism has worked for a while so why change it just because we are in a little slump? Americans would never become Communist, and we destroyed the Traditional economy that was here before the Europeans arrived. Capitalism is the only economic system that will work for the US
