Chinese Teachers

I think this issue is more of a Civil Rights issue. However, I think that this issue will eventually become an economic issue as well. Since individuals are being discriminated against, they are lacking civil rights within their own community. This then leads to a disadvantage in making money, which creates an economic issue. Especially since these people are being denied treatment in hospitals, they are given even more of a disadvantage. I think that each person should be given equal opportunity, despite any disease they may have.

I agree with this. It may very well spread to an economic issue as well. They are being discriminated and it sucks! Also, the economic issue plays a huge part as they are and will not be making a sufficient amount of money. Being denied everywhere must also stink! In the end, as you stated, everyone should be treated equally and given equal opportunity.

I agree as well that this will be an issue of both Civil Rights and and economic issue. Ashley also pointed out a good point about these people witht the disease are not being treated, which is unfair.

I agree with Ashley that this issue will eventually become an economic issue because they are being denied jobs. No person should be discriminated against for any disease they have, especially from the hospitals who are the only ones who are able to help the HIV positive patients.
