One percent
In my opinion, I don't feel like anyone should be obligated to help anyone. Many know it's the right thing to do, but not everyone is as generous. In a magazine, I found an article on this topic. It stated that the top one percent arn't celebrities, media, etc. Actually, I found out that half of our senators and house of reps are included in that top percent. Overall, like stated before, noone should be forced to donate or help the poor.

i agree completely. no one should have to help others. and the fact that our senators and hosue of reps are the ones with all the money is kind of frustrating because that means they wont necessarily do anything drastic to fix the problem because they are not directly affected by it. thats just my opinon though.
I also agree. No one has to help out anyone but it would be nice. And that top 1% actually does help us out. Not by directly giving us money but through other ways. I think one of the main reasons they don't directly give poor people money is because those people would not know what to do with it or how to use it.
