Story of Stuff

I've always been a fan of black friday, but never participated in it until this year. I don't think our nation consumes too MUCH.. I think we consume in the wrong ways. We hit our 'limits' and keep going, and going, and going... it's ridiculous. I was very surprised at the level of waste we produced though. I think this won't change though, we are getting more and more people, and these people won't want to change their ways to accommodate our planet.

I can kind of agree with ryan because not everyone buys everything. Like ryan said hitting our limit is a big deal. Just like gambling we need to know our limit and when we need to stop for the better. Again there wont be any changes the way i see it in the near future. The people have their needs and nothing well stand in their way of getting it.Once the consequences come then the changes will start but not till then . Supply is in low demand for everything if you really think about it.

I also agree. I am a huge fan of black friday but we do consume things in the wrong way. Also, as you said, we don't even know that definition of limit because we obviously don't stop. To add, as more people add to our population, it may be nearly impossible to slow down or cut back at our level of waste. This is nuts!
