Walmart

In this movie, Walmart was portrayed as a negative company. Many people that were interviewed were ones that were part of a smaller local companies. In my mind, I am on the side that doesn't like Walmart's way of going about things. To me, they target small towns with many local companies. It is their goal to wipe them out and become the number one store in that area. On the other hand, Walmart is a great store with good deals, but to me, it seems almost unfair to everyone else. As shown in the movie, some people have worked their whole lives to bring up their business, yet in a matter of months, many can fall apart and go out of business.

I agree with on everything, Walmart has good prices for people but to everyone else it is pretty unfair. I think you are right that the target small towns on purpose because they know that they would all be forced to come to Walmart after they killed off the other buisiness's.

I agree that they are bad but for as there prices go they really aren't that cheap. Most products are like a couple cents cheaper and bad quality. So when you shop at Wal-Mart you're not saving that much money and personally I think they have bad customer service.

Walmart started as a little store in Newport, Arkansas. Sam Walton had also been working up his business like these people have as well. He was doing what these little ma and pa shops were doing too, just trying to get by.
