Electing The Guy With The Most Money

Every four years millions of people gather to vote for the richest canidate in an election. Winning an election has nothing to do with the ideals of the canidate. All elections are practically used as a way for big corporations to premote their ideas. They dont do this with a bilboard or a comercial but they post a their adds in canidates. These canidates then go spred their ideas around as if they truely beleive in them. This is a serious issue in the american election process because we are no longer electing a canidate on their ideals but their ability to raise money. This is why every canidate should be given equal amounts of money to spend on their campaigns so that no one canidate has an advantage.

I agree with the post. Most money is spent in campaigns in advertising to shut down the other opponent. Instead of trying to make the other candidate look hopeless, they should try and worry about how they appear to others. So much money is wasted on making someone else and in my opinion its money poorly spent. This money should be used to help solve our debt problem. Advertising is starting to become a waste of the money spent in campaigns. So much is spent to something so simple and there should be a limit. It's just too much money.

I agree that they spend too much on advertising the wrong things. They shouldn't be making adds just to say how bad the other person is. But instead to say how they are and how they would make things better and become a good president. However it would be pretty hard to limit the amount of money the candidate would raise because every time a supporter donates money they would have to send it back to them.

I completely agree. Why waste so much money on attacking the other candidate? They should be trying to get their ideas and beliefs out there to get votes. Why should we vote for someone who has the most money and uses that money to make other candidates look bad? I disagree with Nick though. A candidate could just not accept donations. Post something on their website that says they've reached their limit. I don't think it would be hard to limit donations.

I also agree with this post, if they can millions of dollars in that short amount of time, why can they do that to help our countries debt crisis? Plus the candidates don't even spend their money wisely, the voters are being blinded by the amounts of money one party has and it keeps us from seeing the truth of their campaigns.
