If any third party candidate were to get elected i think from the libertarian party would be the best bet. They have the most odds of making it because they are one of the only third parties that are not too extreme. They have the most realistic ideas and thoughts for the country. While some of the other third parties have good points, they are way too dominate to one side of the spectrum. which means they probably won't ever have a chance. But overall, democrat and republican will most likely always stay on top.

I agree. People really aren't happy with the two parties that are dominant right now. The only thing that is keeping the third parties out of office is that they are either really extreme, or they don't have a plan to deal with a wide variety of political issues; the specialize too much. Of the parties, the Libertarian' beliefs are more in line with the mass population' comforts.

I agree with Melissa. The Libertarian party is not too extreme in most of their ideas. They offer more freedom for the people and who doesn't love freedom right? They stand up for the people who are "pushed around". I think that their "live and let live" way of thinking will capture the eye of the American people.
