I think that Alan and Adono are living a difficult life. As said in a few other posts, I too think that they should search for higher paying jobs. A few dollars more per hour can add up to quite a significant amount. They should also save as much money as possible- although they have little, saving is still very important. Also, food stamps are nothing to be ashamed of. Our economy has been struggling for a while now and there is no shame in doing everything necessary to put food on the table. In the case of Alan and Adono, I think it all comes down to the small things and hoping that things take a turn for the better.
