1%

I think the wealthiest 1% of the United States should pay much higher taxes in order to help out the bottom 90%, but they shouldn't be forced to pay money from their pocket directly to the poorer people. The wealthy community should donate a lot of money to charity out of decency, but again they shouldn't be forced because they have a right to keep their money. In my opinion, the most beneficial solution as of now is to raise the taxes substantially for the top 1% and let the government be in charge of distributing the money to the people who are barely making it or living on the streets.

I agree with Kara completely, whenever she suggested charities for the poor. They have some charities for the poor yeah; but the people living in the poor neighborhoods or are out on the street, they don't give a lot of that money to the poor.
