2011 the past

With 2011 over it almost feels like it flew by. There were many significant events to take place last year, one of them being the capture and death of Osama Bin laden. When news of the capture was made, i heard fireworks outside of my house 20 seconds later. This was a huge event for the United states because we have been looking for him for so long. He was in a nice house living the whole time. Finally when he was sentenced to death there was more cheer. Our country now was a little safer and protected from more of his attacks.

I agree. I also heard fireworks outside when Bin Laden was announced dead. We have been looking for him for so long and we finally killed him. People can now feel a lot safer then before. And shortly after His death, the Iraq war ended. Definately the most significant event of 2011.

Yes, i agree i with this too because we finally got him. This is a great moment in american history. There was great celebration after this event. Also i remember that the day after everyone was talking about it in school. This was defiantly one of the most significant events of 2011.
