2011 reflection

I think death of Kim Jung Il is the most important thing that occurred in 2011. Although, it was very near 2012, i think it will cause a lot of problems. North Korea for the longest time has been closed off from the rest of the world due to the power of Kim Jung Il. Without him, who really knows what might happen. I truly believe this is a big turning point for North Korea that will effect the rest of the world, whether it be in a positive or negative way.

I must agree, but I believe that the fact that Kim Jung Il's son, a malicious power hungry figure head, stepped into power may put South Korea into a crisis.

I agree with Janelle. Although Kim Jung Il is dead, his son took over and will probably make matters worse. he is more harsh and has a whole life ahead of him. North Korea still has high military protection and that will probably increase with Kim Jung Il's son.

i agree with you janelle. There are many questions now about this new leader. North Korea is a very dangerous country and we know nothing about what kim jung ils son is thinking. I hope he is more open to change and help from other countrys. Every country should make sure theyre on the good side of kim jung ils son.

Without a doubt this was big news when it happened. Kim Jung Il was head honcho for so long and made such of a mess of the country. With his death i don't know if there will be any progressing but this i see as a step forward. In future days we will see if this goes in a more positive of negative way.His country was in turmoil even when he was ruling so that is all it knows. Without him all the people will have to work together to get out of the mess.We will see what 2012 has to bring us from North Korea.
