Poverty :/

I think Andono and Alan are doing a lot for their circumstances, but to improve them maybe a little bit they could look for higher paying jobs. The difference between $11 an hour and $15 might not be much but it adds up in the end. With that extra money they would be able to put aside more and manage their bills better. The one problem is that in the economy now, not many places are hiring and if they are they are not high paying jobs. People that are hiring choose the best of the best and the least amount of people they can because they are suffering as well. So finding a job, a solid one, is quite difficult.

I agree with Janelle. A few dollars would easily help in the long run. That money can be saved and put to the side for time to come. Saving is what people cherish the most, but others find it difficult. A solid job would make them feel more secure. In the end, every penny counts.

Janelle hit the nail on the head. EVery cent counts at their level, so if they can gain a better income then they can get better lives.

I agree with Janelle that the little difference in salary would add up to make a big impact. It would help the family afford some items that the typically have to pass up. It seems as if they are both pretty hardworking and they deserve a higher pay. They are trying their best to support their family and I think eventually they will be able to notice how all their hard work pays off.
