Reflecting on 2011

I think the most important event of 2011 was the death of Osama bin Laden. His death marked a high point in Obama's presidency. It made the U.S a safer place as well as brought many troops home. His death was a significant achievement in our nation's effort to defeat al qaeda. Bin Laden was responsible for 9/11 and I think now that he is gone americans are relieved. In the end I think his death marked an important day in 2011.

Osama's death was definitely one of the most important events of 2011. I agree it factored greatly into Obama's presidency. Bringing the troops home was the ultimate achievement in the eyes of many families. Many are very relieved now. In fact, being the one who was responsible for 9/11, the U.S holds this as a very important day. This, truly, holds great significance and will be remembered forever,

The death of Osama was definately a high point in Obama's presidency and even America's history. American's can rest peacefully knowing that bin laden is gone. This is the most significant event of 2011.

I definitely agree that Osama being killed was the most important event in 2011, because just like Lizzie said it brought a lot of relief to Americans.
