STATE OF THE UNION 2012

Along with many other speeches that Obama has made this one was very long and interesting if I may say. Along with many other promises that he has made to the U.S, I'm not sure if he will keep any promises this year. But there were some parts of Obama's speech that stood out to me. "Company's that are outsourcing should not get tax cuts" I think this would help our government raise more money with taxes. They need all the money they can get. it would help get out of debt also. Due to this, there will be more jobs and unemployment rates will soon decrease slowly. It will help A LOT, and it will make a BIG difference. Also, another part that stood out to me was how he recognized the roles that teachers make on students. He pointed out a good part in his speech. Last but not least when he said that all kids should continue to go to school until they reach the age of 18 or graduate. I thought that was a great idea, but then again Obama doesn't know what causes those kids to drop out at an early age, he doesn't know what they go through or what they have to do to make it in the world, because he probably never had to go through that. How will he make sure that they stay in school?

I agree, although it seems great for everyone to have a high school diploma, those who drop out have their own reasons why. In the longrun, will it be great for our country as Obama makes it sound, or will it just cause more taxes without any change in graduation?
