The Union

I agree with Obama about how companies who outsource should not get a tax cut. They should not be rewarded for taking jobs away from us Americans. We shouldn't be outsourcing, we should be exporting our goods. I don't really know how the trade enforcement unit will work or what it will do exactly but I just hope it's not a waste of tax dollars. He did mention pirating software once but I'm glad he didn't anymore after that. Now everyone please stand and clap.

I also agree, if companies are outsourcing they are taking jobs away form people in the United States and supporting a foreign economy. They should not recieve a tax cut but a tax cut should definately be given to companies who do not outsource as a reward and a thankyou to them. America has relied to much on imported goods and has not been exporting as many. As a nation we need to stop outsourcing, yes the price to produce the good may be cheeper outsourcing but we are taking jobs away from so many Americans, and supporting a foreign economy.

I agree with Nick that companies who outsource should not get a tax cut. I also agree that they shouldn't be rewarded for outsourcing. Globalization is beneficial, but when America is giving away jobs to other countries, it creates a large unemployment problem in our country. Instead, these companies should bring jobs back to America and help our own economy. They can be exporting goods made in America, and our economy will gain a much greater benefit.
